I can't believe it's been so long since my last post. Most of you know, through Jenny's blog, that I was hospitalized and have had the baby, Lauren Rose. She was born two and a half months early and will likely be in Neonatal Intensive Care for another two months. She is doing well though, looking better each day. I'm sure there will be some more worrisome days, but she is at a top hospital in great hands. I can't wait to bring her home.
I truly believe that she and I are still here today with the help of all the kind thoughts and prayers of many people. I have been so touched by the thoughtfulness of not only family and some truly amazing friends, but also strangers who only know me through our blogs.
We are blessed in many ways and through this, Lauren will be sure to learn how important it is to give kindness to others.
Here are more pictures.

Congratulations, Clark Family and welcome to the world Miss Lauren! It's amazing how resilient the littlest ones can be. Best wishes to you all and postive vibes for speedy development and weight gain. Enjoy her!
Tina,
It's wonderful having you back, and hearing that Lauren is improving with each day. I've thought of you often - best wishes to the three of you.

Glad to see things have settled enough for a post! So good to hear from you. I'm so happy, I'm literally crying here at my desk. Really. I'll even take a pic to prove it. Best wishes, cherie - thinking of you often. Remember, we're only 2 blocks away from the hospital should you need us or a break.
Tina,
What a happy day -- looking at your blog again and seeing your post. I am so happy for you that things seem to be going okay. If ever you need to talk, John and I are here for you. We have had a different set of problems, but we have had our fair share of medical issues the last few years. Lauren Rose is a beautiful name. You all deserve so much happiness!
Love,
Cindy

I'm so glad you posted pictures. She is so cute. I, like Maria the other commenter, had tears in my eyes looking at the pictures. I think we're all looking forward to the day when you post pictures of her first day home. :)
Congratulations. What a lucky girl Lauren is to be born into a family as nice as yours.

Grow, Baby, grow!
So happy to get a glimpse of Lauren Rose*:)
All the love, joy & happiness in the world!
Tina, you don't know me at all; I come to you through Jenny's blog. I was one of the silent lurkers quietly pulling for you. Just wanted come out long enough to pass along my congratulations on Lauren's safe delivery. Wishing you all the very best motherhood has to offer.
This mummy from across the lake in Toronto has been thinking of you & your family. Lauren is beautiful, congratulations also what an unbelievable strong and wonderful role model Lauren has with you as her mummy! Chuck is a lucky man to be surrounded by such strong women.
Such a tiny precious girl! Oh, and I love her name...beautiful.
Congratulations to you and Chuck, I am so glad that Baby Lauren is doing well. Will continue to keep her (and you) in my thoughts and prayers...
Baby Lauren is so precious. My thoughts and good wishes comtinue to be with you and your new family.
Isn't it amazing how much you can love someone so small? I'm tearing up just looking at your pictures. When I had my preemie so many people, strangers mostly, told me about their own preemie family member. I couldn't wait to also have mine be "so big now you'd never know she/he was only 2/3/4 lbs." Soon you'll be saying that too. Congratulations.
Peace and good thoughts from a reader in the Lone Star state. Your little girl is lovely.
She's so beautiful! I'm so happy for you. I'm glad to see the both of you doing so well. Best of luck. She'll be home with you sooner than you know it. Congratulations!
What a beautiful little girl with a pretty name! Best wishes for lots of growth so that she can go home to her mommy and daddy soon!
Oh Tina, the pictures are absolutely adorable and I almost want to cry because she's so precious...she is certainly a strong one! All three of you are...every night I ask God to bless your family and to watch out for you.
So precious, congratulations! Lots of thoughts streaming across the country for you all.
Dear Tina,
I've been thinking of you too, and I'm so happy to see mommy and baby doing so well. I also teared up with happiness. When spring has sprung and the flowers begin to bloom, Lauren Rose will be happy and home. Congratulations on your wonderful new family member! :)
Congratulations on the birth of your daugther! Hoping for many blessings in her life as much as she is to you and your husbands!
I found you through ljc and wanted to drop in to let you know I am thinking of you and your family.
I was also on bedrest and had my son early (16 weeks), so I know that you have been through and are still going through the hardest and most wonderful time. I know you are both so happy she is here and scared for her as well. You will spend the next few months taking things one day at a time and still dreaming of when you can bring her home.
I just wanted you to know that there are people out here - mothers - who are sending your small family good thoughts. We know it is a long haul, but the payoff is huge.
I just wanted to ask if you have an online registry anywhere? I would love to be able to send something to help you get ready for her homecoming, or even something to help make the NICU more comfortable.
Tina!
I am so happy you are doing well! I was so worried about you. Your daughter is beautiful. You and Chuck must be so proud. I hope little Lauren comes home soon. We're thinking of all of you every day! We're coming to visit soon. I have to see you guys!!!
Love ya!
Natalie (and Paul, too!)
I am so happy for you, your husband and that sweet little girl. I hope the time passes quickly until little Lauren comes home. You are both in my thoughts.
(I came here via Jenny.)
Tears in my eyes looking at those photos. So tiny and precious and wee she is. Congratulations! I can tell she already has her mama's spunk (pulling on her nose tube). Can't wait til she's home with her parents!
Tina,
God bless you and your husband. May the strength and power of the Lord bless your precious Lauren.
:)
Blessings come in even the smallest packages! I want to congratulate you and your family on the birth of your little one! May it continue to get better and better!
She is just precious! Continued thoughts and prayers for your family.
Most precious. My best to you and your family.
Congratulations! I am so glad to know you're home, and that Lauren continues to do better and to grow each day. I've been praying for all three of you, and will continue until you're all home together.
