- Need to buy a new phone, can't decide. I've been a flip-phone girl for many years and an LG fan for most of that... but I am torn between the adorable - but would have to get used to the slider and touchscreen - LG Chocolate Strawberry:
or the newer - flippy LG VX8600
It's not pink, but I can buy a skin for it...
I really want a phone with a higher mega-pixel camera, but the Samsung 3 megapixel phone is megabucks.
Any opinions?

I've heard a lot of people get frustrated by the razor phones and that the chocolate/strawberry (whatever they're called) phones from Verizon are crap. Actually, I think Consumer Reports told me the latter. Just fyi before you go buy. We get new phones next Thursday :-)
I have the LG flip phone and it works great. I tried out the chocolate in the store and found the controls aggravating.
Go with the flip.
I have the flip and absolutely LOVE it! It came with an ugly looking "leather" case which I didn't like.
I got these iPod Mini cases to put the phone in and I absolutely love them. I got one in each color so that I can change them according to my mood.

They're not flip cases, but more like a pouch that you fit the phone into. And I clip it onto my purse strap, along with one of the Spudz cleaning cloths that Jenny was showing me at CES.
I have a mint chocolate and I love it! I was a flip girl too, but my last phone got dropped and the hinge broke. The slider is cool.
Definitely go with the LG flip. I just got it and LOVE it. I just got rid of a Samsung because it always sounded like I was in a wind tunnel when I was talking to someone. Everyone I know with a Samsung hates it. I haven't heard anything good about the Chocolate phones from my friends that have them.
So my vote is for the LG flip!
Oooh, lots of great input - thanks everyone... I am going to hold out until next thursday per Julia's tip... but leaning toward the flip and will buy a cool skin with the $15 coupon Aprille gave me =)
