Often, as I sit there holding my little girl, I think, "wow, I can't believe she's mine, she's like my little toy."
I can tickle her nose. I can move her mouth up and down and make her look like she's singing I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy. And, I can dress her in whatever I want. And yes, I will be dressing her like fuzzy little animals until she can verbalize her distaste for hats with ears. I'm assuming around age 12.

I'm glad things are going fairly well. It's nice to see pictures of lauren. We're looking forward to the day you can bring her to sit- n-knit.
All I can say is, "Cute!!!!"
:-)

She gets cuter every day. Do you have an idea of when she'll be able to come home? I'm sure you are exhausted with the ordeal you're going through with the blot clots, having a baby in the hospital, and then everyday life. I'm looking forward to when y'all are all living under the same roof healthy and happy. God bless you and your family. :)
why do babies always put their fingers in their ears? i suppose it's better than their nose. or, some may see it as not better.
My brother used to smile and tell me that I had a little doll. Must've brought back childhood memories for him. I had a boy, I used to have fun dressing him as an infant, not as much fun now, but I do still like to dress him in hats. We'll see how long before his hat of choice becomes the baseball type.
Bless your hearts, I'm thinking of all of you. It must feel overwhelming right now, but rest assured time flies and Lauren will be home with you soon! I remember the days of going down to the special care nursery to feed my first baby, and now she's soon to start Grade two!
Hi. my name is matt, my partner gave birth to our daughter yesterday, 8 weeks preemie. It is heartening to see other sites out there as they offer help and support even though you don't know the authors. keep up the good work!!
